The Golden Age of Aviation changed the world, and proved aviation

In the center is a bust of Charles Lindbergh, “the Lone Eagle”, the first man to fly across the Atlantic solo. Nearby are pictures of the Spirit of St. Louis, the Ryan Model NYP that he flew on his historic flight. Also represented are a few of the myriad advertising items featuring either Lindbergh or his aircraft, or named for “Lucky Lindy”.

Additional items highlight other events and aspects of this pivotal era in aviation, from aviation trophies to advertising material.
