The Spirit of World War II in the Airpower Museum

In this view of part of the World War II area, you see a vintage pilots flight suit, a sectioned Pratt & Whitney R-2800, the type that was used in the P-47 represented in the diorama behind.

Also in this area is an extensive collection of model aircraft representing the aircraft flown during World War II, other engines and artifacts of the era, and advertising and media materials from the day.
