Bob Jenkins, Jr sent us an update on the projects that he's working on with his father. Bob Jenkins Senior and his Airmaster are regulars at the Blakesburg fly-in, we look forward to seeing it back with new fabric.
My dad and I have the 1928 Command-Aire restoration all finished, just waiting on some FAA paperwork for the first flight. Here is a video of the engine run.
We have been working on a recover job on my dad's 1938 Cessna Airmaster. It has had cotton on it since my dad restored it back in 1974. We have the engine off, the interior out, fabric off and the wing off. My dad's friend Charlie Mormon came by and helped us remove the wing. Here are a few pictures and a link to the online photo album for it.
I also attached a nice picture of all three airplanes at the farm before we began disassembly of the Airmaster.
