Nine airplanes from the Seattle area and western Washington State, and four more from Spokane are headed for Blakesburg as of Sunday. Currently flying out are Rich Alldredge in his Stearman, Terry Chamberlain in his Stinson 108-3, Ed Hoit in his PA-20, Bob Johnson and Don Culver driving ground support, Bob Juranich in a Waco YMF-3, Bill Juranich in a Command-Aire, Marlo Jones in a PA-11, Keith Littlefield in a PA-18, Don Wainwright in his Stinson 10, Russell Williams in a Ryan SC-W, and Jeremy Young in a Fleet Model 2.
First stop is a hop over the Cascade range to Felts Field in Spokane, WA, and join up with the Spokane flyers: Addison Pemberton flying his Boeing Model 40 with Ben Scott and Chad Ingraham, Ryan, Taryn and baby Allison Pemberton, along with Randy Ingraham in a Waco EQC-6, Larry Howard and David Vopat in a Laird, and Larry Tobin and George Perks in a PT Stearman.
