The Pearson Air Museum has long been a part of Northwest aviation and has been located at Pearson Airpark in Vancouver, WA, where it has shared land in the historic Ft. Vancouver trust area. Last week, after the museum refused to agree to onerous terms, the National Park Service unexpectedly terminated a land use agreement expected to run until 2025. The museum was forced to move out all exhibits and aircraft with just a couple of days notice and is now unable to fulfill its mission until a new home is found.
We've received a description of the story from the museum operators. If after reading you think the actions of the NPS were unwarranted we urge you to express your opinion to the National Park Service and your congressional representatives, especially if you live in Washington state.
