The Nebraska Chapter along with the Arizona, Michigan, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas Chapters will again be sponsoring the Youngest Pilot Award at the National Antique Airplane Association Fly-In in Blakesburg, Iowa this year. The youngest pilot will receive a plaque along with a Lifetime Membership into the AAA.

To receive this great award the Youngest Pilot MUST fly into Antique Airfield as Pilot in Command from his or her home base. In the case of a dispute a delegate from each sponsoring chapter will vote for a final say. Also if the youngest pilot already has a Lifetime membership, the plaque will be awarded to that person but the 600 dollars will be donated to the AAA or APM, to be decided by the sponsoring chapters.

Last year's winner was Hayden Newhouse, 16 years old, he flew into Antique Airfield from Illinois in a Aeronca C-3 . Way to go Hayden hope to see you again this year!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks,
Todd Harders, Nebraska Chapter
