The Directors of the APM are excited to announce the addition of a 1960 Bellanca 14-19-3, N8856R to its collection. This generous donation is the result of conversations between AAA lifetime member Jimmy Rollison and fellow Fed Ex pilot John Morrison, the owner/restorer of this award winning Bellanca. John contacted us with his intentions to donate the airplane several months ago but it took until now to get all the details ironed out.

Though having been stored for a few years, the airplane is in excellent shape (it was the Contemporary class Reserve Grand Champion at AirVenture in 2000) needing only the completion of an annual inspection to get the aircraft airworthy. Along with some hoses needing changed, a new battery and regular annual items, the biggest expense will be sending the prop out for inspection per an AD.

We are currently formulating and coordinating a plan to get the prop taken care of and the aircraft in annual, so if any of our members, donors and fans would like to help and/or donate in an effort to get the Bellanca home, please contact us here at the AAA/APM.

We'd like to "Thank" Jimmy Rollison for his suggesting John contact us, Waldo Anderson for his appraisal of the Bellanca and Nathan Rounds for his inspection/evaluation of what it will take to get the Bellanca in the air and delivered to Antique Airfield.

To John Morrison goes our most humble and gracious "Thanks" for his generous donation of the Bellanca to the APM. Look for the Bellanca on display at the 2014 AAA/APM Invitational Fly-in.
