John Oder wrote in to share his website on building an Altair, which has photos of originals and more information about the Altair project recently posted here. John says:
"Here are more related photos on Photobucket. Gives an excellent idea of the incredible effort these two guys have put forward in less than five years of part time effort.
I provided original drawings and answered questions when asked and did related CAD work to help make sense of the drawings. I have been looking at this stuff since 1969 and may have become sort of a 'guru by default'. Old Bob may recall me coming over to Blakesburg in June of '81 to partially take apart, sketch and photograph the DL-1 Vega Bob had for awhile."
John also says: "I had some great help with the Vega. Here is my Sweet Caroline putting the fin fairing back on. We will have our 46th anniversary this year." Congratulations John and Caroline, and thanks for the photos!
