The 3rd annual Antique Homebuilt Fly-in at Antique Airfield, July 2nd-4th, while not as outstanding as the 2008 event, none the less was a very enjoyable event. It started on the evening of July 2nd with a birthday party for the AAA/APM founder and patriarch, Robert Taylor. A large crowd of family, friends, members, directors etc. showed up to help RLT celebrate his 85th birthday.

Then on Fri. July 3rd, the pattern at Antique Airfield was busy early on as arrivals began with varied and interesting aircraft. Our hopes for a turn out to beat last year's attendance of 30 plus aircraft were soon dashed, when the weather forecast of deteriorating conditions in the afternoon proved to be accurate.

Still we ended with some twenty aircraft, many which represented the group of aircraft the AAA considers antique homebuilts and 2nd generation antiques. For those that could not attend, hope you enjoy a few images from the weekend.
