Don Dugas in Punta Gorda, Florida had his airplane recently featured on the cover of Trade-A-Plane.
Don says: This is a 1946 Aeronca Champ 7AC that has been converted to a 7EC with the installation of a larger fin, larger freshly overhauled Continental 90-12F engine, a 26 gallon fuel capacity and new PolyFiber cover. It also has a generator powered 12v electrical system. It was a four year rebuild that was finished in early 2005. I purchased it at that time and have put on about 260 hours of local flying around South West Florida. The airplane is hangared at KPGD, Charlotte County Airport in Punta Gorda, Florida.
