Addison Pemberton has an update for the wings on his Custom Cabin Waco:
John Pike at Big Sky in Portland Oregon has pulled a mircle and finished our new upper wings for our Custom C-6 Waco in 11 WEEKS and on budget!!! What a great experience for me and the craftsmanship is to a very high standard. We will do the final inspection next week and bring them home on the 26th. We then epoxy varnish, install new leading edges that we have formed, and install the wiring for the landing lights and airspeed lines and gas tank straps. We have made provisions for sheet metal covers over the tanks and provision for capacitance fuel gages. With this said we should have the wings through cover by the end of July and ready for color, the tail group and fuse are ready now. This will let us meet our summer goal of having the airplane through final color and graphics by the end of summer.
