Brian Meuser and others from the Northern California area attended a fly-in April 24th hosted by Jimmy Rollison, who recently ferried the late Bud Field's Stinson Jr. from Illinois. Brian writes:

We had great weather and some great airplanes at Jimmy's fly in Saturday.

Check out the cockpit shot of the Fairchild: I love the rudder pedals and toe brakes.

Jimmy owns the Cessna Airmaster and his hanger neighbor Chris ? has the Fairchild and the Cabin Waco. Both of these planes are outstanding restorations. Jimmy is putting a plan together for the Cessna.

Jimmy also owns the Phantom. Bud Field's estate owns the Stinson Junior (most likely will be up for sale) and the other Stinson Detroiter came in from Placerville piloted by Rick Atkins of Rag Time Aero. The Monocoupe with the flat engine is from Schellville.
