Rudy Frasca, Champaign, IL, is well known in the warbird community. His Grumman Wildcat, Curtiss P-40, Spitfire and other warbirds have been seen at numerous fly-in and airshows throughout the country for years.
But Rudy also has a fine selection of antique/classic aircraft in his collection. Pictured here are three of those aircraft, his Fairchild 24 C8A, Aeronca C-3 (re-engined with a Continental A-65), and Ranger powered Great Lakes.
The Fairchild C8A, N957V, will be in attendance at the AAA/APM Invitational Fly-in (Sep 1-6) as part of the "Gathering of Fairchilds" and that the C-3 may also attend the fly-in.
