Registration Fees and Refunds
Note On Registration Fee:
In these trying economic times we appreciate not only the
effort but the costs incurred by those attending
the AAA/APM Invitational fly-in. However, 2012 brings new financial
challenges for the AAA/APM as our costs to host
the fly-in continue to rise. Therefore the Board of Directors of both
the AAA and APM have decided that a modest increase
in our registration fee for the 2012 fly-in, while unwanted, is
necessary. So, registration for the whole five day event will
increase to $65. That represents an increase of just $1.00 a
day. Camping costs will remain the same as last year at $60
for the entire fly-in.
Your registration fees help pay for the costs associated with the
fly-in including security, emergency services, rental equipment, and
insurance amongst others.
As part of their membership benefits there is NO REGISTRATION CHARGE
TO LIFETIME
MEMBERS (camping or bunkhouse fees do apply to Lifetime members, however).
The registration fees charged for all attendees (members & guests) at
the AAA/APM Fly-in is predicated on attendance of the entire five day
fly-in event. Since many of the fly-in costs are constant for the
event regardless of length of time a particular guest stays, and since
we want to encourage folks to attend for multiple days, we require an
up-front payment of the total registration fee at the time of
registration.
For those who must leave early (prior to Sunday Sept 3) and can only
stay for a few days we offer a refund of the "unused" registration fee
when you leave. There are no refunds on Sunday. This policy has been
confusing to some attendees, so the chart below is designed to
illustrate the registration fees and refunds. Choose the row based on
your day of arrival, and then choose the column for the day of
departure. Early departure refunds can be claimed at the registration
desk at the fly-in before noon daily.
